搭公共交通才知人民不便‧首相兩度擠不上車, PM unhappy with City rail services

[星洲]（布城）首相拿督斯里阿都拉今日（週四，21日）早上兩度擠不進電動火車的車廂，深深體會和感受到城市上班族乘搭公共交通上班的不便。

日理萬機的首相於週四特地微服出巡，親身體驗乘搭電動火車和輕快鐵的滋味，以及感受當中的不便，結果令首相感到很不高興，因為整個公共交通系統對人民根本並不舒適，這是必須要改善的。

阿都拉於早上8時15分在沒有官員的陪同下，到沙登電動火車站上車，然後到中環廣場轉搭輕快鐵到占米回教堂站。首相在抵達目的地時已是9時15分，車程足足1小時。

阿都拉親眼目睹了上班族在巔峰時間擠搭公共交通的苦處，並且批評火車服務欠缺系統化，車廂不足，川行路線也不廣。

首相在車廂中也與搭客閒聊，瞭解公眾的感受。

批評火車服務欠缺系統化

首相在抵達占米回教堂站後，向《馬新社》記者表明不滿意鐵道系統服務，並且促請有關方面儘速改善。

他說，搭客每天早上都需要互擠才能上到車廂，看來毫無系統。

[the star]KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi took rides on the commuter and Kelana Jaya rail line from Serdang to the city centre Thursday to get a feel of the transportation problems faced by the people and came away less than satisfied.

Throughout the one-hour journey, during which he switched trains, the prime minister noted the congestion, especially during the peak hours, and spoke to his fellow passengers to get their feedback.

Speaking to Bernama after disembarking at the Masjid Jamek LRT station, he said he was not satisfied with the rail services and wanted immediate improvements to be made.

He said the existing services were not systematic, there were not enough coaches and coverage was not comprehensive, leaving many areas not serviced.

“I just saw the plight of people using the trains to get to work every morning. They were jostling to get on board every time a train arrived. There appeared to be no system.

“I’m not happy with this because the people are not getting satisfaction from riding the trains. This, we must fix,” he said.

“I found the trains really packed with so many passengers. Some had waited for three trains and yet could not board. “There’s no queue. People push their way in, women with children and old people are pushed aside,” he added.

Abdullah arrived at the Serdang Komuter KTM station at 8.15am but could not get on board the first train that arrived because it was packed.

He got on the next train, which arrived 15 minutes later, and headed for KL Sentral, the modern transportation hub for the various rail services.

There he also had to wait a while to switch to the Putra LRT service to get to the Masjid Jamek station because again, the first train to arrive was full.

On both the trains that he took, the prime minister had to stand although the passengers offered him their seats.

Upon arrival at the Masjid Jamek station at 9.15am, he chatted with members of the the public and bought several types of local cakes from the sellers there before leaving.

“There were many more suggestions given me by the passengers for my attention. I will strive for improvements, I will propose changes,” he said. – Bernama

Fuuh..i really hope public transport in msia to improve.. coz i "duno" how 2 drive!! got to depends on public transport?! mayb PM shud try on d bus sys as well..

my dissatisfation on public transport (my one week experiences in kl):

1. nt frequent enuf (all especially monorail)

2. always got gangguan perkhidmatan (masalah technical - putra & star LRT)

3. station so big, bt d train has only limited coaches - add more & u can take in more! i always get sandwich lik sardin durin peak hrs (all trains)

4. nt on time (KTM)

5. nt all lane has touch & go.. i always has to queue until all d way to d gate only realise, this lane has no touch & go or rosak - encourage everyone to use touch & go? visible lane label?

6. impatient & rude bus driver - nv stop hons-ing

7. bad condition of d bus.. (saw "siu keong" on bus *geli*, dirty seats, aircondition sure working ar?..)

8. unservice bus & taxi - pollution!! also made my face super oily & pores get stucked wit dirt while walking pass them..

9. taxi drivers love nt to run in meters! overcharge! (celaka.. if am nt in a rush, n i need transport, i would hav gaduh teruk wit them!)

10. even d passengers, just hav no sympathy to others.. in one of my case, ppl just stand right in front of d door, tryin to push his way through d crowd tht is trying to come of of d coach.. i even yelled at tht stupid guy! u dont giv way, how d hell u gona get in?! then on my way to MV, their is dis couple who r both vision disable, were pushed by ppl behind them, makin them tripped over.. HELLO ppl! cant u just make way for them?! or at least dont PUSH! poor couple bt was lucky tht they were both nt injured..

i dont usually feel so bad one years back, coz i oni need putra & star lrt.. now, no more mummy driver, susah betul..! sigh..

17th aug 2008 - 1 million fly fly fly~~

oh well, every1 was so looking fwd to d game today - beijing 2008 olympic badminton men single final.. gathering at own home (lik me & relatives) or mamak or kopitiam etc.. just to share d precious moment together..

1st seed of d world, lin dan (china) vs 2nd seed of d world, lee chong wei (msia). am sure most of us wasnt looking fwd to win dis match, bt still cross our fingers for Lee CW. bt i was pretty disappointed for d game coz i tot it would b a tough game for both of them.. phekjoo actually express it as an adult vs kid match. i dont really blame Lee CW le, i think he is pretty much under pressured.. being d only hope 2 grab 1st gold medal in msia history.. he might nt b at his best state during d game, bt he did go for it (nt too sure also...). during d prize giving ceremony, i couldnt find any happiness in Lee CW although he is currently d best men single in msia history, he himself must b v down too.. anyway he is still b best, beating rashid record & grabbed d v 1st medal in beijing olympic 2008 for msia..

i do looking forward to see his achievements in upcoming competitions.. JIA YOU lo.. :D

ps: wonder if anyone every though of putting Lee CW & Wong MC in mixed double? :p haha..

back to msia for SPA interview & 2nd convo

haha yea! am back in msia!! bt super stresse coz i stayed at grandma hse & there is only dial up connection.. some more am using my fren - hawlun's acct, coz my dial up acct nt working liao.. sigh.. it took me super long to load things.. i missed spore internet connection!! (although nt as good as uk, bt nt bad :D) it took me 15 min to load a 30s video on utube.. i gona missed all my series for more than a week!! & no blogging! help! i cant survive!

Now am blogging at cousin's hse.. streamyx! :) haha. . cool!! bt gona b a short one, so note down wht am up to so tht i rmb to blog it in detail :) hehe.. downstairs now is watching finals for badmin mixed.. gaga.. hide in cousin room to do sth (blogging + blogs hop + youtube + misc) til men's single final :p all d best Lee CW :D he is d hero.. hope he will just do his best & nt being too pressured..

so wht am i gona do in dis one week? yea 1st i went SPA interview.. then meet up wit my relatives & frens, also need to go putrajaya (kementerian kesihantan) & PJ (lembaga farmasi), & kelana jaya msia custom (to claim back my duty tax for my graduation photos) also my 2nd convo.. hehe.. feeling surprise? y i got 2 convo? hmm long story.. blog bout it when am back in spore.. k la.. gtg..

9th aug 2008 - 雙手抽筋注射鎮定劑‧疑藥物過量男童癱瘓

布城）懷疑遭醫生注射過量鎮定劑，天真活潑的7歲男童，爸媽心目中的寶貝兒，卻癱瘓在床，不能站立，不能語言。

這起可能與醫生誤診有關的事件，事主家人是住在武吉蒲種的公寓單位，此名只能躺在床上，日常生活都需要依賴親人服侍的7歲男童，是原本就讀漢民小學的潘長健。

雪州高級行政議員郭素沁今日（週五，8日）在多位助理陪同下，親自到出事家庭，瞭解問題的來龍去脈。

頭腦遭病毒侵襲
郭素沁表示，初步判斷，長健有可能遭注射過量鎮定劑，也可能與吉隆坡中央醫院的診斷，頭腦遭病毒侵襲有關。

據長健父母潘亞財（35歲）以及黃秀雲（28歲）的追述，長健在6月22日，由於雙手不斷抽筋，被送往一家私人診所醫治。

此名醫生表明，長健只是患普通的疾病，結果為他注射兩劑鎮定藥，並說只要睡一場覺，就會沒事，然後把長健留在診所休息和觀察。

據黃秀雲披露，經過數小時後，原本頭腦清醒，還可以講話的長健，突然身體抽筋得更嚴重；結果這位醫生趕忙把他送進一家私人醫院，可是次日傍晚約7時，長健仍然昏睡不醒。

她說，此私人醫院有護士在場，親眼看見這位私人醫生再為長健注射多兩劑鎮定藥，然後以患上腦膜炎為由，把他送往彭亨路吉隆坡中央醫院接受治療。

份量屬成人才能承受
在中央醫院治病整月的期間，長健全身不知被注射了多少針，由於其雙腳彎曲，醫務人員惟有為他抹上石膏，用儀器拉直，令長健張大口似吶喊，狀極痛苦，但又發不出聲音。

根據家屬提供資料，保險公司從私人醫院索取出來的醫藥報告，以及收集的資料顯示，注射在長健身上的藥物，是屬於成人才能承受的份量。

目前長健只能躺在病床上，不能移動和語言，連大小便，也需要服侍，可說是癱瘓在床。
長健還有一位5歲的妹妹，名叫雪兒。

不能語言無法表達長健張大口神情痛苦
不能語言，不能站立的潘長健，在郭素沁細聲細語慰問時，間中會張開大口，神情似叫喊，又像很痛苦，身體也隨著扭動，卻不知道他要表達些甚麼，令旁人看了感到很心酸。

到底長健是頭腦已損壞，還是有其他原因，最後留醫的吉隆坡中央醫院也沒有給予清楚的交待，只為長健提供鬆筋藥和利便的腸胃藥，並交待可到沙登中央醫院，接受物理治療。

長期陪伴在側的家人，覺得很無助，由於長健雙親都是熟食小販，只能與親人輪流看顧長健，期間很久沒有做生意，收入也受影響。

郭素沁表示，當務之急，除了呼吁公眾人士自動捐獻，協助潘家一家四口，渡過難關之外，也將安排專科醫生為長健診斷，提供專業看法，設法使長健康復。

她也宣佈撥款2500令吉，暫時協助潘家渡過難關。

opening ceremony olympic 2008 started last night at about 8pm, i watch it through channel 5.. a v touching performance i would say.. to see such a big troop of performers & audience participate in dis memorable event.. i took them plenty of time & effort to make things perfect! finally d DREAM COME TRUE! One World One Dream..

[the star] China put on a stunning display of pageantry and pyrotechnics to open the 2008 Olympic Games at the National Stadium in Beijing. It was depicted as the largest, costliest extravaganza in Olympic history, bookended by barrages of some 30,000 fireworks during a performance that took a 4 billion worldwide audience through 2,000 years of Chinese history

China’s most successful film director (zhang yi mou) spent three years creating the ceremony, which had all the flair and scale of one of his epic films, House of Flying Daggers or Hero. It included hundreds of kung fu fighters dressed in matching white, opera singers and dancers.

the "drum" performance (缶陣) was made up of 2008 participants & it really shock me, how perfect their movements are..

there is this little girl in red who sang Hymn to My Country, has a v good voice & i almost cried when seeing children fr 56 ethnic grp fr China walked a giant China flag across d stadium.. they r d future! it then proceed wit some sort of story telling, introducing China history focusing on their 4 major inventions: the paper, printing, compass & gunpowder

[星洲] 儀式分三個流程
在歡迎儀式，展示奧運五環，中國國旗入場，升中國國旗，奏中國國歌後，長達一個小時的文藝表演開始精彩呈獻。文藝表演定名《美麗的奧林匹克》，上篇為《燦爛文明》、下篇為《輝煌時代》。

it was then followed by athletes fr 205 country, enter into d stadium.. Malaysia was d 10th to enter.. d climax of d day shud b d lighting of d olympic cauldron by LiNing.. amazing! lighting fr d sky!

it was finished of wit thunders of fireworks! inside & outside of d stadium.. my personal opinion, audience in front of TV benefits d most :p hehe.. get a full view of it!

super not nice sleep on lousy ferry.. manage to woke up on time to watch sunrise :p haha bt nt as nice as sunset.. also, camera all sudah mati.. left wit my 2MP hp camera.. haih...

anyway, we reached mainland at bout 1430, catch a light lunch near by then head back hotel for shower!! super duper dirty & sticky.. i actually need to wash my haih 3x oni i feel comfortable! end results: hait clean bt dry...

well, at 1st, we thought we shud hav a good rest today since didnt had good sleep for few days liao.. bt then also v wasting if we dont do anything today.. empty travel log.. haha kiasu-ism.. we then head of to d parliament for changing of guards.. also had ice batang (sudah v long didnt had ice batang) on a hot day - super nice & cooling.. dinner at plaka sun bin admire d night view of acropolis

woke up at about 8am and went out to the open deck.. at dis time, we r reaching one of d island - Ios (pronounce as e-os).. all islands seems to b SOOoooo nice :D pics came out to b great coz d ocean is clean, d sky is clear..

SANTORINI HERE WE ARE!!

santorini island was a v big island, bt during a volcano eruption, santorini island broke into 3 parts. the main island tht we r lading on is called thira.. d sharp cliffs is where d detachment took plc..

took a bus to fira town where we went looking for local tours (volcano & hot spring exploration) then lunch at el greco restaurant, near d main square.. hm was dipuji sweet & gorgeous (just coz she pay d bill... on our behalf...) ehem!! by d waiter.. hey!! how bout other girls here?! haha.. anyway we got free ouzo drinks fr them.. :D TQ

took a cable car down to old port (meeting point) & took a boat to d volcano.. it is a national geological park of nea kameni. it has always been a site of scientific interest & is a protected natural monument.. it is also d youngest volcanic landform in eastern Mediterranean as it is still an active volcano (arent we girls v daring?.. haha). the oldest rock formation daes 430 yrs back & d most recent ones in about 50 yrs ago (last eruption in 1950). Nea kameni was part of santorini bt after eruption, it "detach" fr the main island. magma still exist at a depth of a few km under d island, forming d hot spring near by & hot gases tht r emitted fr fumaroles of d central craters on d peak of nea kameni.. super hot lo.. & oni those who know how to swim can go hot spring :p as my fren would know.. haha i duno how 2 swim :p went bodek wit d captain, n he lent me a life jacket (lousy type, redang type would b much better.. haha)

head back to old port & tht's d end of our local tour.. took a donkey ride instead of cable car up to fira.. felt v sorry 4 d donkey bt they really tried their best.. d donkey master also v pilih kasih.. gav hm a bigger donkey & a smaller one to me.. bt i hav our backpack on me!! my poor donkey.. love her v much.. donkey ride was fun, if they dun keep knocking into each other.. cy actually raised her both leg up when d donkeys were walking side by side.. haha coz bulu v geli.. :p

did a bit of souvenir shopping b4 catching a bus to Oia (pronouce as ee-ya) for d most romantic sunset in d world! :) wow d bus was a bit horrible i think.. they tried to cramp as much ppl as they could.. other than ppl seating down, ppl also stood in 2 line.. can u imagine how cramp was tht? i wonder if it's legal to do tht.. sunset at 2030 & was v nice :) too bad our camera wasnt good enuf for sunset.. haha also ALL our camera ran out of batt by d end of sunset! luckily we met a nice msia girl & husband, came here for honey moon.. n she promised to share the pics :) keke.. (check out d albums in multiply) after sun has set, we still waited there for awhile.. some of us actually hoping for resurgence :p tht's d end of our plan :) we still missed out perissa beach & wine tasting.. bt i'm sure all of us will b back.. some time later.. haha..

didnt get to hav dinner coz rushing to go back.. we got head back to fira, then to d port.. this time, we didnt manage to get a cabin, so can only overnight on seats.. a bad condition ferry, if were to compare to last night ones.. public toilet: 1/3 toilet was locked, 1/3 toilet could lock d door, 1/3 toilet cnt flush.. no cabin = no bath :( i feel worse tht kiruna where i didnt bath for 72 hrs.. also had muscle aching in d night, proly coz i didnt go swim for v long & no warm up b4 jumping into d hot spring.. haih.. didnt sleep well lo..
